CSX Corporation and CSX Transportation began an extensive upgrading of their downtown Jacksonville, Fla., headquarters last month.
The building's exterior will be covered with a beige elastometric coating. For the most part, the material will be applied over the blue and green tiles previously in place. Kenneth Smith Architects and Advanced Coating and Caulkings of Jacksonville will perform the work, which should be completed in about a year and cost less than $1 million.
