The Brazilian Army is renewing its armored vehicles fleet, produced by Engesa in the 80s. The initial plan involved 260 vehicles, but now all the 630 units fleet will be renewed. The vehicles repair is in charge of AGSP (Arsenal de Guerra de Sao Paulo) in partnership with Ceppe and Columbus companies, created by Engesa ex-employees. The aim is to extend the utilization of the fleet for 15 years. AGSP erected a plant to the project, which has the capacity to renew 10 vehicles per month and 160 cars were already modernized.
