A PENSIONER who has been operating a children's donkey- ride business for nearly 40 years is preparing to trot into the sunset because he can find no-one to insure him.
Trevor Culling, 69,of North Walsham, Norfolk, said``compensation culture'' was frightening insurance companies away.
Mr Culling has been renting out his donkeys at fetes and fairs since the early 1960s.
At its peak his herd, which he keeps on land near his home,numbered 50. Now it is down to 11.
He said during that time a handful of children had suffered nothing worse than a broken arm after falling off.
