BOZEMAN, Mont. -- BOZEMAN, Mont., May 6 /PRNewswire/ -- A new program to help restore the night sky over Yellowstone National Park was announced today with a grant totaling nearly $100,000 from the GE Foundation (the philanthropic organization of the General Electric Company) in cooperation with the National Park Service and the Yellowstone Park Foundation. The program, timed to help celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Old Faithful Inn, has targeted a major reduction in 'sky glow' in the Old Faithful village, as well as other major visitor areas in Yellowstone National Park.
