The UK-based Mobile Data Association (MDA) has announced the UK mobile internet WAP page impression (PI) figures on behalf of GSM network operators O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone. The figure for March 2003 is 560m, an increase on February's total of 16 per cent, exceeding half a billion for the first time. March's figure takes the daily average to 18m, compared to 11m in September 2002, when the issuing of WAP page impression figures by the MDA began.
