TOKYO, May 6 Asia Pulse - Yamada Denki Co. (TSE:9831) has decided to provide wide-ranging assistance to troubled retailer Wakodenki Co. in its effort to turn the business around, The Nihon Keizai Shimbun learned Friday.
Wakodenki has filed for bankruptcy protection under the Civil Rehabilitation Law.
