Microsoft says that more than 350,000 subscribers worldwide have joined its Xbox Live online game service. New downloadable content for its MechAssault Xbox Live game got about 172,000 downloads its first week. In a recent Microsoft survey 82% of Xbox Live users said downloadable content was Xbox Live's most desirable feature.
Xbox Live currently plays host to more than three million game sessions a week including players from the US, Canada and Japan. Players logged more than 15.7 million hours of play in the first three months of availability.
