(Sports Network) - They have the best record in the National League heading into action on Wednesday, and the San Francisco Giants don't appear to be slowing down with their stop on the East Coast.

On Tuesday, Benito Santiago's two-run homer in the eighth inning lifted San Francisco to a 4-2 victory over the Florida Marlins in the first of a three- game set.

Barry Bonds also homered for the Giants, who have won three straight contests. Santiago, Jose Cruz and Edgardo Alfonzo each had a pair of hits for San Francisco.

Joe Nathan posted the win with two perfect innings of relief for the club ...
