Six Seattle Pacific track and field athletes were among 26 from the Great Northwest Athletic Conference awarded berths yesterday in the NCAA Division II national meet May 22-24 in Evansville, Ind.
SPU's Paul Mach, a junior from Seattle, was plucked from the qualifying list as the final entry in the men's 400-meter hurdles.
He'll join five Falcons women at nationals: freshman Danielle Ayers-Stamper from LaCrosse and senior Laura Widman from Colfax in the heptathlon; senior Sarah Kraybill from Ballard in the 800; sophomore Josie Lavin from Bremerton in the 1,500 and junior Ally Studer from Redmond in the pole vault.
