2003 MAY 21 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- After being delayed by a long winter, spring allergy season is now beginning to make its presence felt in cities across the country.
Tree pollens are floating on the breezes of spring, causing sneezes, coughs and itchy eyes, noses, and throats for the 35 million Americans who suffer from allergic rhinitis - commonly called hay fever or seasonal allergies. Because the prevalence of seasonal allergies has been steadily rising over the past 20 years, the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America is launching a nationwide Allergy Action Plan to help consumers recognize, prevent, and safely treat allergy symptoms.
