Kelli Royer will seek a third district tennis title after all.
The Churchill senior skipped the regular season, citing a lack of time to commit to the Lancers. However, she began practicing with the team a few weeks ago and will be seeded No. 1 at this week's Midwestern League girls tennis tournament.
"She's been playing a lot and practicing with the team," Churchill coach Todd Hammans said. "We should be good, now our team is full."
The girls tournament will be held Thursday and Friday at Eugene Swim and Tennis Club. The boys are scheduled to play at Thurston High School and the Willamalane tennis ...
