Burswood casino in Western Australia will develop a $A50m Holiday Inn in a joint venture with InterContinental Hotels. The joint venture with the UK-based company will also see the Burswood Hotel re-branded as an InterContinental Hotel in August 2003. General manager of Burswood Hotel, James Allen, said the three-star Holiday Inn would provide lower-priced accommodation for casino patrons.
