Milan, Italy (Sports Network) - The next-to-last day of action in Serie A saw AC Milan and Lazio clinch spots in the Champions League for next season, while next weekend will decide places in the UEFA Cup and the final relegated team in Italy's top flight.

Playing most of their regulars, Champions League finalists Milan defeated Bologna 3-1 to claim their spot, while Lazio beat Brescia 3-1 at the Olympic Stadium in Rome to cement fourth place, the last place for next season's tournament. Those two results, combined with Chievo's 0-0 draw with Roma, saw Milan and Lazio through.
