The Cleveland Botanical Garden is launching its first comprehensive advertising campaign in Cleveland and surrounding metropolitan areas in hopes of luring new visitors to the renovated garden when it opens July 15.
As the $45 million renovation and addition to the 37-year-old building in University Circle comes to an end, the Botanical Garden is kicking off a series of print, TV, radio and billboard ads in Northeast Ohio, Columbus, Detroit and Pittsburgh, said Karen Allport, Botanical Garden marketing director.
"We want to create awareness and create excitement and get (people) to really want to come here,'' she said.
