London -- London, May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Psychiatric Association (APA) and AstraZeneca announced today the winners of their collaborative Young Minds in Psychiatry Awards Program, that recognizes and supports outstanding psychiatry researchers who are at the beginning of their careers.
Four researchers will be presented with their US$45,000 career development award at the APA's Young Investigators meeting, held to coincide with their 156th annual meeting in San Francisco. The Awards Program consists of two research categories - schizophrenia and bipolar disorder - and a winner from the US and the rest of the world was selected in each category.
