It's springtime for Hitler.
While Mel Brooks' hit Broadway musical makes light of the Nazi dictator and his brutal regime, there's been nothing humorous about the controversy surrounding Hitler: The Rise of Evil, CBS' two part, four-hour miniseries that premieres Sunday night.
When announced a year ago, the project drew instant criticism, mainly from Jewish groups that assumed the film would ``humanize'' the Nazi leader.
