Reedsport clinched the Big Fir League prep baseball championship on Saturday with a doubleheader sweep at Bandon.
The Braves, who finished with an 11-1 conference record, also earned a spot in the Class 2A state playoffs.
Reedsport won the first game 3-1 as Danny Dickson struck out 11 and walked none. In Game 2, Scott Bowman was 4-for-5 and Daniel Mast was 3-for-5 in the 10-3 victory.
Bandon will play at Oakland in a Big Fir League playoff game on Thursday. The winner travels to Reedsport next Saturday in a seeding game for the Class 2A state playoffs.
The first round of the playoffs begin on May 28. ...
