Over 100 Hungarian companies hope for Iraq orders from Bechtel

Budapest. May 23. INTERFAX-EUROPE - More than one hundred Hungarian companies have registered their interest at the Hungarian International Trade Development Agency (ITDH), and around 15 enterprises directly on the homepage of US infrastructure giant Bechtel, Istvan Csillag, economy and transport minister said Friday.

Csillag was speaking after he met with representatives of Hungarian industry to discuss a potential role in the reconstruction of Iraq. Executives of Transelektro, Ganz, Agroinvest and AmCham were present at the meeting.
