Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS) today announced that the U.S. Air Force has awarded a $9.7 million addition to the Mission Communications Operations and Maintenance (MCOM) program for two new databases - Secure Telephone Unit (STU) III and COMSEC - bringing MCOM's total potential value for Harris to $365 million by 2009. The MCOM program, awarded to Harris in July 2002 under a one-year contract with six, one-year options, provides operations and maintenance services for the U.S. Air Force Satellite Control Network's (AFSCN's) communications functions at Schriever AFB, ...
