Gov. George Pataki wants state lawmakers to pass legislation considered crucial to the Destiny USA project in Syracuse before they adjourn for the session in three weeks.
The governor Tuesday called the legislation "one of the priorities for the end of session."
Pyramid's top executive arrived in Albany Wednesday to push lawmakers to pass the legislation, meeting with Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno and others.
Pyramid is considering a television advertising campaign in Syracuse and Albany to promote the $2.2 billion retail and entertainment project planned for the shore of Onondaga Lake.
