After more than two years of relying on money from Cincinnati and Hamilton County taxpayers, the Port Authority approved a deal Wednesday that will help generate its own revenue for future projects.
Under the deal, the Port Authority will gain control of land along the Ohio River and create a wharf and docking area, which will serve a commercial facility planned nearby.
The Port Authority will charge docking fees for barges unloading materials that will be used at the facility proposed by Southside Industrial Partners. Southside, an Indianapolis-based transportation company, is buying 60 acres on River ...
