WHEN Carol and Steve Darler bought a [pounds sterling]300,000 house in a Cambridgeshire cul-de-sac, they found the luxury caravan they parked outside wasn't to everyone's taste.
One neighbour decided it wasn't in keeping with 'middle class living' - and that its presence had even reduced property values by [pounds sterling]20,000.
As a result, Mr and Mrs Darler became the targets of a two-year hate-letter campaign which attacked their 'breeding'.
