At least once a week, Norm Maxwell climbs into his government-issue Ford Expedition, flatbed trailer in tow, and heads for the woods to stalk his favorite prey: dead cars.
He might be stalking an old Datsun or a Ford Maverick or even a Volkswagen bus on rare occasions.
Maxwell knows what to expect, regardless of the make: a vehicle riddled with bullet holes, smashed windows, no license plates or vehicle identification number - and broken beer bottles scattered on the ground.
