Jun. 4--Alternative newspaper chain Creative Loafing Inc. said Tuesday it will investigate two board members -- who are also executives at Cox Enterprises -- over Cox's recent launch of a Thursday entertainment and dining guide in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The new publication, accessAtlanta, was launched April 24 and competes with Creative Loafing's Atlanta alternative weekly for readers and advertisers. It replaces an entertainment section formerly published every Friday.
Atlanta-based Cox Enterprises owns The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
