San Juan -- The attractive qualities of Puerto Rico are not limited to the island's natural beauty, as a recent inspection tour revealed. A host of manufacturers, particularly in the pharmaceutical, computer, electronics, and scientific instruments fields, have already made this discovery, which has spurred the development of several competitive clusters. The clusters are geographic concentrations of interconnected companies, specialized suppliers, and service providers.
