Just looking up at the ride towering over the Roselle Rose Fest, Jeff Manley was sure the carnival had plenty to offer.
"The Inverter is my favorite ride because it goes upside down," the 9-year-old said. "I haven't been on it, but I know it's going to be my favorite because it's tall."
He was among the many people who attended the annual event Thursday, after opening night storms chased away all but the most dedicated.
