Well, I've got to say it, the North East has been stitched up again.

Liverpool has got the vote for 2008. I'm rather upset at this because I've recently been there. I must say that Newcastle and Gateshead have done far more to improve both the buildings and community.

I just hope that Liverpool can take this all the way, but sadly I don't think they will.

So here is a big thank you to those who came to this decision. Yet again the Government can't see anything good in the North East!
