Colin Balmer CB has today been appointed Managing Director of the Cabinet Office. In this new post, Mr Balmer will have Accounting Officer responsibilities for the Cabinet Office Account and day to day responsibility for the management of the Department. He will also be a member of the Cabinet Office Board.
