Brasil Ferrovias will inaugurate Terminal Alto Araguaia, in Mato Grosso state. The ceremony will count on the Brazilian president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. The inauguration matches to the end of building works of the first 500km of Ferronorte railroad, outlined in the 80s to transport the agribusiness production from Brazilian Center-West and North regions to ports. The terminal has the capacity to store up to 5mil m tons per year and may handle 22,000 m tons per day.
