China's culture ministry issue rules to regulate net culture, bans Command and Conquer III
Shanghai. June 6. INTERFAX-CHINA - China's Ministry of Culture released provisional regulations on Internet culture, which will be put into implementation on July 1. The rules cover all art products, audio and video products, online games, programs and cartoons that are produced, broadcast and transacted via the Internet, as well as governing units specialized in these Internet culture products.
Prior to this announcement, the culture ministry has already banned sales of the online game Command and Conquer III, which was claimed to have offended the Chinese people. ...
