One man created one of the most popular characters in television history and was twice nominated for Oscars and won a Tony. Another directed one of the "Oh, God" movies and has presided perpetually over the annual Academy Awards show. Yet one more has spent most of his acting life on the Broadway stage with a few side trips to motion pictures.
One became an actress on a long-running soap opera. Still another won five Emmy awards in the areas of writing, directing and producing. Finally, one produced the Neil Diamond version of "The Jazz Singer" and these days is a Hollywood independent producer.
