Teens under age 18 unescorted by an adult will no longer be allowed to shop in Carousel Center on weekend nights, beginning today.
Under the Syracuse mall's new parental escort policy, teens still will be allowed to go to the movies unescorted. They can use an entrance designated for under-18 moviegoers or have an adult accompany them to the theaters on the third level.
The restrictions begin at 4 p.m. today and will be enforced Fridays and Saturdays from 4 p.m. until the mall closes. Teens who are shopping with an adult can still do so during the curfew hours.
