Jun. 7--The Transportation Security Administration said Friday it still plans to reduce the number federal security workers at McCarran International Airport by Sept. 30, but the number of local jobs lost will be less than was previously announced.
Officials from McCarran and Nevada's congressional delegation, who previously blasted TSA's plan to cut its work force at the nation's seventh-busiest airport, on Friday largely supported the agency's decision.
