The popularity of penstemons continues to grow. Deservedly so - because of the huge diversity available in both types and colours.

Penstemons are members of the figwort family (or Scrophulariaceac) which also includes such well-loved plants as foxgloves, diascias and antirrhinums. Like all of these, penstemons have showy flower spikes.

The genus penstemons is one of the largest wild flower genera in the world having about 270 species. Native to North and Central America, penstemons grow in every American State except Hawaii ...
