A new study reported today at the American Heart Association's Second Asia Pacific Scientific Forum shows that Asian Americans are at heightened risk for a painless heart condition called silent myocardial ischemia. It occurs when plaque build-up or an obstruction causes the heart arteries to narrow, restricting the flow of oxygen-rich blood to the heart.
