Jun. 7--TAMPA, Fla.-- Keith Sirois is no stranger to the restaurant industry and the hard work it commands.
In the 1970s, while managing a Denny's on Detroit's hardscrabble Eight Mile Road, he once spent 36 straight hours working.
Sirois took time off only to grab a few Zs in an empty booth. The rest of the time was spent slinging hash, busing tables and keeping the restaurant running.
