In Sackets Harbor Saturday, it was an all Cide show.
From the bars pouring Funny Cide light beer, to the gift shops sold out of Funny Cide souvenirs, to the throngs of people - 3,000 to 4,000 by police estimates - crowding Main Street and filling bars to watch their favorite thoroughbred run for the Triple Crown, everything played second fiddle to Funny Cide.
The 3-year-old gelding didn't win the Belmont, didn't win the Triple Crown. But the New York-bred horse was the darling of the day.
