Associated Research, Inc. has announced the addition of HypotULTRA[TM] III to its line of electrical safety compliance testing instruments. This product family consists of two different models, the 7620, which is a 5 kVAC hipot tester and the 7650, a 5 kVAC and DC Hipot tester with a built-in insulation resistance tester. The 7620 is suitable for manufacturers who require only AC test voltage but need to test in an automated application.
