This year's San Diego Business Journal List of Tourist Attractions is ranked on 2002 attendance figures.
Out of 25 attractions, 10 had an increase in attendance, nine had a decrease, and six had about the same number of attendants.
Total attendance at San Diego tourist attractions in 2002 showed a slight increase to 28.2 million visitors, compared to 27,6 million in 2001. The increase happened in spite of a slow economy and a general decline in air travel.
The average price of admission to a tourist attraction in 2002 was $10.07, up 96 cents from 2001's average price of $9.11.
