The Finnish energy group Fortum Corporation is reportedly against a sale of the Norwegian energy group Hafslund ASA's electricity production assets.
Fortum increased its ownership interest in Hafslund in May from 21.4% to 34.1% and is now Hafslund's second largest shareholder after the municipality of Oslo which holds some 54% of the shares.
