The sneezing and watery eyes finally got the best of Eleanor Jack of Minneapolis. With tree pollen season just over, grass pollens were in full bloom, keeping her miserable. And ragweed season was just around the corner.
So she went to Target for Claritin, the allergy drug she'd heard so much about. But the high price (about $1 per pill) made her pause. As she stood there tentatively, reading the Claritin box, I couldn't resist asking Jack whether she had considered Target's lower-priced generic brand.
