BUNIA, Congo _ Wearing blue bulletproof vests, U.N. Security Council ambassadors from 15 nations, including the United States, arrived Thursday in the war-scarred town of Bunia to show support for a new multinational security force.
As they drove through Bunia's dusty main street, scores of supporters of the ruling militia, the Union of Congolese Patriots (UPC), converged on their vehicles demanding that the French-led force leave.
