Wild coach Jacques Lemaire has approved the table centerpieces and ordered the champagne for the big party, which in his family is his daughter's upcoming wedding rather than Thursday night's announcement that named him the NHL's Coach of the Year.
Lemaire won the league's Jack Adams Award for the second time in a decade, this time for leading the third-year Wild to its first postseason appearance. The Wild finished with 95 points, a 22-point improvement on 2001-02.
