2003 JUN 16 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Grass pollen antigens are a large group of significant allergens, and will soon be cloned and used in diagnostics and may even pave the way for specific immunotherapy.
"Grass pollens are one of the most important airborne allergen sources worldwide. About 20 species from 5 subfamilies are considered to be the most frequent causes of grass pollen allergy, and the allergenic relationships among them closely follow their phylogenetic relationships.
