2003 JUN 22 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- The Lewin Group, Inc., has released data demonstrating that MedCath Corp. (MDTH) heart hospitals, on average, treat cardiac patients with a higher case mix index (CMI), which is a common measure of patient severity of illness and case complexity, compared with peer community hospitals across the country.
