Sainsbury is relaunching its Blue Parrot Cafe kids range in July with bolder packaging and a raft of new products.

Launched in March 2001, Blue Parrot was the first supermarket own label range for children, and is worth 33m [pounds sterling]. However, TNS data reveals it has been overtaken by Tesco's Kids range, which has fewer lines (50 to Blue Parrot's 170), but stronger sales in the year to February 2003, despite only being in store for seven months.
