Freddie Mac has joined a coalition of state and national lenders in cooperation with the Sacramento Valley Organizing Community launching the "Home Education on Wheels" program designed to help increase the low homeownership rate among the area's minority households.
The program is a mobile homeownership center operated by bilingual staff from SVOC that travels to public gathering places such as churches, businesses, soccer games, rural farming centers and anywhere else people congregate.
Freddie said that the program will assist residents in the counties of Sacramento, Yolo and Solano - especially Spanish speakers - who "may not realize their potential ...
