Jun. 15--Downtown has four million square feet of office space -- half of the office space in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre/Hazleton market.
A variety of corporations are located downtown.
Several regional corporations call downtown home.
But, the office workers -- 12,000 daily -- are the real prize for downtown, consultants studying the Wilkes-Barre's business district have concluded.
The workers are customers for the retail shops that exist and those envisioned by the consultants and community leaders.
