Stacy Taylor, a local Foley & Lardner attorney-turned-entrepreneur, shared her own business success story recently. It gives hope to all those inventor types out there.
Taylor, a biomedical intellectual property attorney in San Diego for the last 13 years, and her husband, Paul Taylor, started a biomed company in 1996. Paul is a medical device engineer who holds patents to several devices and related technologies.
During his time as a leader of research and development for Minnesota-based Medtronic, Paul was a lead inventor on an atherectomy device, which drills through blockages in veins or arteries.
