NEW YORK -- The close bond between Sofia Coppola and Marc Jacobs is well known in fashion circles.
Coppola is often referred to as one of Jacobs' muses and she is typically decked out in his cool designs. She usually sits front-row and center at his fashion shows and even starred in the ad campaign for the launch of the designer's namesake perfume.
So when the actress and director had some accessories ideas of her own, it was only natural for Coppola to come to Jacobs.
"I wanted a lightweight, casual bag and just asked [Jacobs] if I could come and make some for the Marc line," she said.
